Who doesn’t love a good old movie night? Sitting around immersed in the events playing out on the screen in front of you. Sinking further and further into the beanbag whilst filling your stomach with any snacks in arms reach.
There is no doubt popcorn is the ultimate movie snack. It goes hand in hand with any movie date. But why not spice things up with a few different treats for you next movie date? Here are five snacks pretty much guaranteed to improve your movie night:
Try something as simple as adding some caramel to your popcorn. It has been around for years and you can even buy it pre-made but caramel popcorn is a must have for a movie night.
Choose your favourite flavour(s) of ice-cream and scoop them into a cone and follow by dipping into some melted chocolate and letting it set!
They are easy to make, time efficient and always a crowd pleaser. Plus you can eat the whole thing, so no mess! For that extra touch dip your choc top in sprinkles before the chocolate sets and call yourself a master-chef.

We definitely had to include something healthy, and this is it! Fruit skewers are a creative way to eat fruit and so easy to make. Cut up your most colourful fruit into squares, chunks or for a grapes sake, keep it whole.
One by one pierce a skewer through the fruit until you have a rainbow stick of fresh fruit. For something extra try dipping it in yoghurt or cream!
Chocolate But not just chocolate. A chocolate bouquet is the perfect snack to accompany any movie night. Choose from a variety of chocolates from Lindt to Ferrero Rocher to share with your movie mates.
Now something for those of us lacking in sweet tooth and in need something from the savoury department. Nachos are an easy-to-share and even easier to make dish.
Grab some corn chips, sour cream, cheese and lots of guacamole (avocado). Pile it on one after another, chuck it in the oven and wallah … nachos! Even try substituting potato skins for corn chips to change this up!
